What it is

The honest version.

  • A curriculum written by an eight-time champion, taught from stance and guard up
  • Pad work with a coach every session — controlled, coached and safe
  • Sparring is optional in every programme here, and it is earned

The system

A real curriculum, not a class list.

Muay Thai Kickboxing is one of the most effective stand-up striking arts in the world. Our curriculum was written by Kru Yai Martello Jones — an eight-time Muay Thai and Kickboxing champion, WBC Cruiserweight professional champion and IFMA World bronze medallist — so what you learn follows a structured path that has already produced results, rather than whatever the coach felt like running that night.

  • Footwork, balance and stance fundamentals
  • Punches, kicks, knees and elbows, level-appropriate
  • Defensive skills and reactions
  • Pad work and partner drills — controlled, coached and safe
  • Conditioning built to improve performance and endurance

What a class feels like

Structured, and you keep moving.

Every session has the same shape, so you always know where you are in it. You will train hard without being thrown into the deep end — that is the line we hold, and it is why beginners stay.

  • Warm-up and mobility — injury prevention and performance prep
  • Technique coaching, step by step and beginner-friendly
  • Pad work — high output, high engagement
  • A conditioning finisher
  • Cool down and a quick recap, so you leave better than you arrived

Who it is for

Never trained, or trained plenty.

You do not need experience. You need a decision to start. If you have never done this, begin at Fundamentals — nobody will put you at the front and ask you to demonstrate, and nobody expects you to know a teep from a switch kick. If you have mat time behind you, there is an advanced class and there are people here who will push you. Sparring access is earned through consistent attendance and skill development, and a coach clears you for it when you are ready.

  • Fundamentals every week, so there is always a way in
  • An advanced class for people with mat time behind them
  • Fat loss, strength, performance, stress relief — or learning Muay Thai properly
  • Sparring is not mandatory in any programme here
  • Rounds are light, controlled and coached, in the traditional Muay Thai way

The Art Of 8 standard

More than a workout. A team that shows up.

Anyone can sell fitness. What makes this room different is the culture — people work hard without ego, beginners are welcomed and coached rather than tolerated, and everybody in it is pushing toward a better version of themselves. High energy is easy. High energy with structure, skill and community behind it is the thing we actually built. You are part of the #8TEAM the minute you step on the mats.

  • Beginner-friendly coaching — you are taught from the ground up
  • High standards and a strong culture: clean coaching, structured classes, no ego
  • Community first — supported, challenged and included
  • Progress you can feel: better cardio, sharper technique, stronger mindset

Your first session

What actually happens.

Booking takes about a minute and confirms straight away. You turn up in comfortable shorts and a t-shirt, and a coach takes you through the session — stance and the basic strikes on pads, with somebody watching what you are doing. No sparring, and nothing put in front of you to sign at the end.

  • Comfortable shorts and a t-shirt
  • A coach runs you through it from start to finish
  • No sparring on a first session
  • Nothing is put in front of you to sign on day one

First session is free.
